Took the dog to the Duke of Yorks cinema in .

She got a bit barky during a quiet scene where a man was walking heavily up some stairs. Good girl, looking after us.

A small terrier stepping into the isle of the cinema. You can see a bit of the big screen. Everything is bathed in red light.

“pet detective" found 330 lost dogs using thermal imaging drone 🥰

Photo of a newspaper page, reads: It wasn’t all bad
• Erica Hart, a 44-year-old “pet
detective,” has reunited 330 lost dogs
with their owners in England using a
thermal imaging drone. The volunteer
started tracking down lost puppies
in 2018, after her father gifted her a
drone and told her a local dog was
missing, setting off a successful search
for the schnauzer. These days, she can
usually find a dog that got lost in a
field within a day, though her longest
rescue effort took 12 days. Hart has
even helped people on Christmas Day
and New Year’s Eve. “I have seen large,
6-foot men burst into tears; it is price-
less to see their faces,” Hart said.

WARNING: Machine generated image in this post.

I took the `alt` text from the above and ran it through Diffuser (random seed came up as 129) and it produced this image. Where are bins?

A machine generated image, given the prompt: “An early evening view of Brighton Beach, looking out over the pebbles with three bins on the right edge of the image, and a thin crescent moon in the sky.” You see the night, the beach, the sea, but no bins or moon

A lovely clear night last night in . And this morning the birds were singing in some kind of enhanced HD, I’m sure of it.

An early evening view of Brighton Beach, looking out over the pebbles with three bins on the right edge of the image, and a thin crescent moon in the sky.

Great idea, seen at Euston station.

Costs hung up outside a train station. The sign reads:
PAY IT FORWARD
Take a hat, scarf, coat or gloves if you are cold, leave similar for others that may also be cold.

Sorting the loft and finding a Duke glove puppet.

The Sun Microsystem’s mascot for the Java programming language is an odd critter: a big hat ? And a big red nose ? Who knows what it was.

Tonight I was over at in for brightonastro.com — specifically the Professor Malcolm Longair talk on science.

Way above my pay grade, but I like him and his story very much. Got a problem you need sorting at a NASA committee? Get Malc in.

I also got a badge with a doggie on it (Brighton Astro merch).

Professor Malcolm Longair standing to the side of a podium which carries the Brighton Astro logo. Behind him is a slide titled “Thermal History of the Universe”. The professor is gesturing forward, to the future.
