National Emergency Briefing screening
Becky alerted me to a screening of the National Emergency Briefing's film "The People’s Emergency Briefing". This is not a film you can see on the telly or elsewhere (yet), because rather smartly the organisers want people to meet, watch, and discuss.

You can likely find a free screening near you, or host one for your street.
The discussion afterwards was fun but brief. I don't agree with it all, but there was lots of engagement:
- Rude resistance matters: unfortunately, the loudest, rudest people show up and make themselves too annoying to ignore.
- We will look back at what we did to Just Stop Oil with shame.
- Not everyone can do the expensive things: we need everyday ideas for people.
- "Losers are the ones campaigning: Dig, baby dig". That is, it's those with a lot to lose from changes that are spending to prevent change.
- Want, and the growing need for more: “Change the message of the cult of more”
- “Wealth and inequity need to be on the list”
- “Corporate power is way bigger than government”
It's a good watch, well worth 90 minutes of your time.
