The RSS monthly is excellent

A recommendation: the Royal Statistical Society Data Science newsletter is up there as being one of the best things I subscribe to.

It hits the sweet spot of being just the right frequency (monthly) and having a good mix of news, highlights of interesting paper, and education links. You need to like bullet lists to really enjoy it.
